Lone Star Coasterthon started with check in at the front gate and the receiveing of our back pack full with event t-shirt, meal vouchers, drink tickets, and more. This year, 264 members and guests arrived for two days of Six Flags Over Texas hospitality.

We started the day off with breakfast and two ERT sessions. The first session included New Texas Giant, Titan, La Vibora, Conquistador, and Runaway Mountain. The second ERT session included, Shock Wave, Superman Tower of Power, Chaparrel Antique Cars, El Aserradero, Casa Magnetica, Runaway Mine Train, Mini Mine Train, Titan, and new Texas Giant.

After ERT, the park led us back into the back area of New Texas Giant for a tour. We were also allowed to sign the ride structure with markers. Our group photo was also taken.

Right after the tour, we had a wonderful catered meal in the picnic pavillions. After lunch, we had presentations from Taylor from Coaster Studios, Jake from RMC, and Chris and Nate from Six Flags Over Texas.

After the presentations, we held an auction with items donated by the park with the proceeds going to the National Roller Coaster Museum & Archives.

We had a little free time before our reserved seating for the parks Love at First Fright show. After the show, attendees enjoyed rides and haunts for the rest of the day with our event lanyard giving us access to the Flash Pass lanes.

At park closing, we met again at the picnic pavillions for a nacho bar, fresh baked cookies, and a presentation for Park President Ron McKenzie.

Day two began with breakfast and ERT on Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast, Batman The Ride, Joker, Riddler Revenge, Sky Screamer, Judge Roy Scream, and Wile E Coyote Canyon Blaster Coaster.

We next met up for a construction tour of Aquaman Power Wave. Attendees were allowed to climb all over the ride for pictures.

After the tour, we headed over to the Southern Palace for a wrap up session. We all played a triva game before closing announcements and upcoming events were presented. After the session everyone was invited to stay at the park for the rest of the day and continue to enjoy Flash Pass access to the rides with our event lanyards.

A great big T H A N K Y O U to Ron, Sharon, Brad, Chris, Nate, and everyone at Six Flags Over Texas for hosting such an amazing event!
