Fright Bash 2021

Six Flags Fiesta Texas welcomed 123 ACE members and guests for Fright Bash at the park on Saturday, October 16. The weather was perfect. We checked in and received our badges at the front gate. The badges were our access to all the fun the park had planned for us that day. It served as a Flash Pass for the rides, got us into reserved seating for all shows, was our express access to all of the haunts, and let us in to the picnic pavillions for our dinner.

We were then escorted past the guests waiting in the park for our group photo and then first rides of the day on Iron Rattler. Most people had time to go around and get a second ride.

When the park opened, we were escorted into the construction zone for Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger for a tour. We went into the old backstage area for the Sundance Theatre that is being converted into the queue and exit gift shop for the new attraction.

Next up, we were escorted to the train station for a walking tour of the railroad track to take in the park from a new perspective. Crossing the bridge in Texas Square, going under rides, over the bridge over the rapids ride, and through the tunnel were some of the highlights of this first ever experience.

For most of the day reserved show seating was available for all of the parks shows. Some people also decided to take advantage of their lanyard access to the rides.

Dinner was served in the Picnic Pavillions. We enjoyed pulled pork or grilled chicken sandwiches and a baked potato bar was available with tea, water, or soft drinks. Peach cobbler was served for dessert.

After dinner, Chris, Jeff, and the regional rep team made announcements. Jeffrey also made some announcements, but was interupted by Shadow, the Fright Fest Icon and later by Dr. Diabolical herself.

After dinner we had a few hours to enjoy the parks haunts and attractions before heading to our reserved seats for Dr. Diabolical's Monster Mash Bash performance. After the show, we were then escorted to reserved seating for the Frightful Finale fireworks and multimedia closing show.

To finish off the event, we received an hour of ERT on Poltergeist and Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster.

A great big THANK YOU to Jeffrey, Chris, Jeff, Jorge, Neil, and the entire Six Flags Fiesta Texas team for putting on such an amazing event!
