Fright Bash was held on Saturday, October 3 at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Over 70 ACEr's and guests were in attandance.
The event started with check in and signing up for tours later in the day. After checking in, we entered the park and were led back to Superman Krypton Coaster for a special photo tour in the restricted area of the ride. The park even dispatched trains to let us get photos of this amazing ride that you can not get from anywhere inside the park.
After everyone got plenty of photos, it was time to be on the first ride of the day on Superman Krypton Coaster. We were running ahead of schedule, so first ride turned into more of a mini ERT with most getting two to three rides in before the general public arrived.
We were then free to enjoy the park for the afternoon. During the day, small groups met for an Entertainment Shop tour and to hear from the people who design and create the sets and props you see around the park. We were encouraged to ask questions and take pictures.
We were then free again to enjoy the park until dinner at the picnic pavillions. After dinner, Jeff, Jeffrey, and the regional rep team all spoke to the group. It was announced during this time that the special surprise during ERT would be, attendees of the event would be the very first guests to get to experience the new attraction Dare Devil Dive. It would open thirty minutes after evening ERT began on Iron Rattler.
After dinner, we headed over to Sundance Theatre for the parks Terror at Teatro Show and Wicked Mix Vol 1. After these two shows, we were escorted through a back area to reserved seating for the parks nightime spectacular, Frightful Finale. After the show, we remained in place until the Iron Rattler was cleared for our ERT.
After the park was cleared, we then began our hour of ERT on Iron Rattler. Thirty minutes later, the group moved to the new Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines attraction and were amazed by the details of the queue. We were then let on the ride. What a priviledge to get the first non employee rides and the ride is not even scheduled to open tpo the public any time soon. The park also surprised us with cookies and a special Dare Devil Dive collectors pin.
We wish to thank Jeffrey, Jeff, Ron, and the entire Six Flags Fiesta Texas team for one of the best events that they have ever put on for us.
