ACE Day At SeaWorld San Antonio 2020

Our ACE Day At SeaWorld San Antonio event was held on Saturday, November 7th. Over 125 ACE members and guests were in attandance.

The event started with check in just inside of the front gate. After checking in, we entered the park and were led back to Texas Stingray, Riptide Rescue, Sea Swinger, and Turtle Reef for an hour of ERT.

After ERT, we were then led over to Ports of Call for a lunch featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, and more. Four members of SeaWorld management made announcements and answered questions from the group. Sign up sheets were available to schedule small group behind the scenes tours during the day.

There were two tours to choose from, Great White and Journey To Atlantis. The Great White tour took guests to the maintenance facility for the ride, where members got to ask questions and see the replacement parts for the ride, and then up on the maintenance catwalk of the ride for a close up picture opportunity with one of the rides trains. The Journey To Atlantis tour also took members behind the scenes to the maintenance area for the ride for a question and answer period.

Attendees were then free to enjoy the parks many rides, shows, and exhibits until dinner.

Dinner was once again held in the Ports of Call. It consisted of BBQ brisket, sausage, and all the fixings. Park management was again on hand for announcements and to pass out gift bags to each participant.

After dinner, we were free for a few hours to explore the park again. Many members took advantage of the light crowds and got a few night rides in on Texas Stingray. Ten minutes before the park closed, the park had a fireworks display.

After the fireworks, the park closed for the general public, but it was time to start our one hour of ERT on Steel Eel, Wave Breaker, and Great White.
