The Biggest Mardi Gras Festival in Texas Returns to Six Flags Fiesta Texas Feb. 7 – March 15

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Jan. 21, 2026 – Six Flags Fiesta Texas is set to unleash the vibrant
spirit of New Orleans as its annual Mardi Gras Festival returns on select dates Feb. 7 through
March 15
. The celebration brings bigger energy, bolder flavors and blockbuster entertainment,
including the internationally acclaimed Voodoo Dolls, winner of the prestigious Golden Ticket
Award for Best New Show. Guests can also sign up at Guest Services each day for an
opportunity to ride aboard an authentic Mardi Gras parade float and toss beads during the daily
Spectacle of Color Parade.

This year’s festival transforms the entire park with the sights, sounds and tastes of Louisiana.
Guests can step into the revelry with live music, dazzling street performances, the fan-favorite
Spectacle of Color Mardi Gras Parade, interactive family activities and an expanded lineup of
themed shows that capture the rich rhythm and magic of Mardi Gras.

New Entertainment and Returning Favorites
The 2026 festival features 10 entertainment spectacles across the park, including two new
productions that expand the Mardi Gras lineup. The festival introduces Dansequerade, a
high‐energy dance production pulsing with Mardi Gras flair, along with the debut of The Bourbon
St. Belles, a lively vocal trio bringing New Orleans soul to Sangerfest Halle. Returning favorites
include The Big Easy Band, The Fleur de Lis and the award‐winning Voodoo Dolls, delivering
powerhouse vocals, choreography and a voodoo‐twist atmosphere that continues to captivate
guests. Character meet and greets with Looney Tunes and DC Super Heroes & Villains add
extra fun for families throughout the day.

The Spectacle of Color Mardi Gras Parade
The festival’s unforgettable Spectacle of Color Parade steps off daily, flooding the streets with
glowing floats, costumed performers and a vibrant musical score. Guests can even sign up at
Guest Services each day of the festival for a limited number of opportunities to ride aboard a
parade float and toss beads, putting them right in the middle of the celebration.

Taste of Mardi Gras Food Festival
Food lovers can take a culinary trip to Louisiana at nine festival locations offering bold Cajun
and Creole creations. Featured items include:

  • Crispy Cajun Gator Bites
  • Crawfish Étouffée Nachos
  • Bacon Boudin Balls
  • Jambalaya, Crab Mac & Cheese, Gumbo Hand Pies
  • Beignets and King Cake Bread Pudding

Specialty cocktails like Frozen Hurricanes, Cajun Storm, Dead Man Walking and the Bourbon
St. Fishbowl keep the celebration flowing.

Family Fun for All Ages
At Mardi’s Craft Corner, families can create their own Mardi Gras-themed art and participate in
free hands-on activities throughout the day. Kids can also meet Looney Tunes characters
dressed in festive attire, perfect for photos and memories that last long after the parade confetti
